the habit.us collective presents
habit.us is a we.grow.eco established collective built around art, collective action, and frontline projects.
we interested in how people respond to uncertainty through care, creativity, adaptation, and connection.
during the north american trek, we will gather stories about how the ways we
live, move, consume, connect, and build community shape the world around us.
this is an artistic research project that uses movement, conversation, and documentation as creative tools.
for 8 months, we will travel across north america by bike, canoe, sailboat, bus, and foot.
because we feel the need to unite theory and praxis.
how does living outside, moving through the elements, and remaining on the ground shape a theory of change?
traveling slowly through diverse landscapes and communities allows me to engage directly with people and place while gathering photographs, field recordings, journal entries, interviews, maps, and reflections.
we believe this project can help make hope more tangible and inspire collective action toward a future we wish to see.
